Flavius Eugenius, an ally of the Frankish commander Arbogast, was a usurper in the western Roman Empire against Emperor Theodosius I, who succeeded him. Though a Christian, he was the last Roman emperor to support Roman polytheism, the worship of, or belief in, multiple deities.
