Bronze Age Flint Arrorhead Tanged and Barbed
24x21mm, 2.30g
A knapped flint, barbed and tanged arrowhead dating from the Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age (c.2700 BC – c.1600 BC). The arrowhead is bifacially worked and sub-triangular shaped. The tang was used to secure the arrow tip to its shaft, projecting slightly below the ends of the barbs on each side.

A nice group of Iron Age coins have been uploaded today, including a comprehensive selection of Corieltavi silver & gold coinage.
Most have never been offered on the market before today, recovered by metal detectorists at various sites in the North of England.
