All Angevin coins are extremely rare and, generally poorly struck but this coin is in Extremely Fine condition. Probably down to the fact that it was turned in to a cut halfpenny shortly after being struck then quickly lost in favorable ground conditions which have preserved it in this extraordinary condition. A most pleasing piece in hand, even as a cut halfpenny!
