Roman Wine Jug & Handle – 2nd/3rd Century AD

A rare opportunity to buy a substantial Roman bronze artefact, while the thin bronze jug has sustained corrosion and damage it is still an attractive & rare item.
The handle is in fine condition & decorated with a bulls head with niellio inlay, probably linked to the goddess Minerva.

Jug – 110mm widest diameter, approx. 150mm high originally (pre corrosion)

Handle – 140x37mm
