Phokaia was an ancient Greek city in the region of Ionia on the western coast of Anatolia in present-day Turkey.
Electrum is a naturally occurring alloy of gold and silver, containing trace amounts of copper and other metals, hekte refers to the denomination of one sixth of a unit of the monetary system. Obverse depicting female head left; reverse with quadripartite incuse square.
A good example of this issue with central strike both sides, normally these are off struck on at least one side if not both.
